Deborah Lynne “Debbie” Mecaskey, 58, passed away on Saturday January 2017 at her home in Whitewright, Texas. The daughter of Jimmy Clyde and Anna Louise (Anderson) Nicholson, she was born on July 21, 1958 in Atlanta, GA. On April 12, 1974, she married Mark Elvis Mecaskey in Greenville, TX and they made their home in Whitewright, TX. Debbie worked inside the home raising their children and now enjoying their grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Dale Nicholson and Bobby Joe Nicholson. She is survived by her husband Mark of Whitewright, two daughters Amanda Dawn LaRue of Paris, TX and Melissa Ann Mecaskey of Sugarland, two sons James Elvis Mecaskey of Fort Worth and Jon David Mullins of Everette, WA, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Marie Mecaskey of Whitewright, one sister Carol Nicholson of Dallas, three brothers Gary Nicholson of Nevada, TX, Bryan Nicholson of Whitewright and Steven Nicholson of Dallas, nine grandchildren Paul Logan Romanski, Tevis Anne Romanski, Michael Devlin Romanski, Joseph Michael Mecaskey, MacKenzie Anne LaRue, Nicholas Aidan LaRue, Hunter Dalton Mullins, Ainsley Patricia Jones, and William Holden Jones. A visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas. SERVICES
