FRANKSTON CITIZEN 12-15-2016 Graveside services for Louie Elton Dingler, 80, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Bascom Cemetery in Tyler with Rev. Olin Boles officiating, under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the graveside service. Louie passed away on November 28, 2016. He was born October 17, 1936 in Fincastle, Tx to Raymond Monroe and Lena Vandiver Dingler. He graduated from LaPoynor school. He worked for Contiental Can Company for 28 years and retired from U.T. Health Center in 1999. Louie was known for his love and devotion for his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. He was a great hunter and fisherman. He blessed everyone he met with his infectious humor and laughter. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cindy Louise Dingler; grandson, Zack Browne; brother , Durwood Dingler; and brother in law, Everett Blackburn. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Gerri; sons and daughter in laws, Jimmy and LaShawn Dingler of Tyler and Brian and Brandy Dingler of The Colony; daughter, Cathy Hilton of Winona, daughter and son in law, Kay and Tim Browne of Whitehouse, 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, Jean Blackburn of Dayton and brother and sister in law, Marion and Alice Dingler of Winona along with nieces, nephews and cousins. The delight of his life were Taylor, Owen and Lexi Dingler and Laeni Socia . His life was blessed by many friends. Honorary pallbearers are the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class at Bethel Baptist Church.
