DOROTHY M. "DOT" JANDA ZANINI AGE 85, of Pueblo, Colorado. PASSED AWAY: Jan. 17, 2008. BIRTH: June 13, 1922, in Deweese, Nebraska. AMONG SURVIVORS: Children Jeannie (Theodore) Morgan of Colorado Springs, Joe (Jennifer) Zanini of Colorado Springs and John (Vicki) Zanini of Pueblo, grandchildren Amy (Todd) Redding, Ben (Katrina) Morgan, Peter Morgan, Ryan Zanini, Jamie Zanini and Brea (Shannon) Buchanan, great-grandchildren Harley Buchanan, Layne Buchanan and Seth Buchanan, sister Theresa Sloan of Arkansas, and nieces and nephews. PRECEDED IN DEATH by husband, Joseph L. Zanini on July 4, 2007, parents George and Helen Janda, and brother Richard Janda. GRADUATION: Graduated valedictorian of her high school class in DeWeese, Nebraska. EMPLOYMENT: Telephone operator in Hastings, Neb. and Trinidad. MEMBER: Shrine of St. Therese, where she volunteered careing for the altar linen, leading Rosaries, and assisting with the church's fund-raising activities. Officer for the Council of Catholic Women for over 22 years and served on Parish Council for six years. Supporter of the missions of the Catholic church. Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #145 Ladies Auxiliary of Pueblo, Colorado. HOBBIES: Reading, baking, cooking and music. In younger days, she played the snare drums, and later the piano. Love of God, her Family and Friends. NO VIEWING. ROSARY: Monday, January 21, 7PM FUNERAL MASS: Tuesday, January 22, at 10AM. Both services will be at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave. INTERMENT: Imperial Memorial Gardens.
