Joseph R. Sembera, 81, of Bellflower, California, died Saturday, May 17, 1980. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Paramount Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Saint Dominic Savior Catholic Church. Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Sembera was born in Moulton, Texas and lived in West and Dallas. For the past 30 years, he lived in California. Survivors include his wife, Annie; one daughter, Angeline; three sons, Eddie, Leon and Ernest, all of California; and eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also two sisters, Albina Green and Mary Sweeney, and three brothers, Rudolph, Frank and Emil of West.
