C. And N. C. Woolery, was born March 31, 1886, in Polk county, Nebraska, and died in St. Joseph's hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, January 22nd, 1919, at the age of 32 years, 9 months, and 21 days. She was united in marriage with L. C. Smith September 15th, 1909. To this union there were born five children, three sons and two daughters. She was in poor health for a year of more previous to her death, and after having survived a serious operation some months ago, it was found that she must undergo a second one, and was taken to the hospital at Omaha. For some days she lingered between life and death until on Wednesday, January 22nd the angel of death came to relieve her suffering. When she arrived at the age of 19 years she was converted and united with the Congregational church at Burwell, Nebraska. Upon moving to Ord she united with the First M.E. Church. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, five children, Laura, 8 years, Ronald 7 years, Maynard 5 years, Los 3 years, Golda 1 year of age; a father, W. C. Woolery, of Ord, Nebraska; four brothers and two sisters, Charles C., and E. T. Woolery, Ord Nebraska; D. E. Woolery, Osceola, Iowa, John H. Woolery, Sioux City, Iowa; Mae Murdock, Genoa, Nebraska; Rilla Butcher, Burwell, Neb. The funeral service was held from the Baptist church of Ord, Neb., in charge of pastor Charles J. Bukoutz, Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mr. J. A. Perkins of Lincoln, Neb., had direction of the music. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Jan 30 1919, Pg 8, Col 2
