Erin Ganlet Allee Walton Erin Walton passed from this life on December 6, 2016 at the age of 96. She was born in Madisonville, Texas to Mary Della Vaughn Allee and Joseph Edward Allee on March 30, 1920. The family moved to the Houston area when Erin was seventeen. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Cobb & Mary Breithaupt and husband Lonnie; seven grandchildren: Dan Cobb and wife Kristin; Cheryl McDonald; Lynette Gary and husband Tom; Cary Cobb and wife Stephanie; Lisa Logan; Leah Edwards and husband Doug; Jamie Cobb and wife Shannon; ; twenty two great-grandchildren, Justin Cobb & wife Emily, Daniel Cobb; Brittney Cobb; Brianna Cobb; Laura Stine; Heather Vincent; Alexandra Gary; Morgan Gary; Tyler Gary; Kayley Cobb; Zane Cobb; Drew Cobb, Brody Cobb; Jordan Logan; Sydney Logan; Peyton Edwards; Parker Edwards; Presley Edwards; Penelope Edwards; Walter Edwards; Erin LeDoux and husband Eric; Emily Cobb; four great-great-grandchildren, Allison Stine; Kaleb Cobb; Owen Cobb; Kory Cobb; sister-in-law Dorothy Allee; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Sidney Lee Walton; her son, Bill Walton and wife, Beverly; grandchild: Erin Rochelle Cobb; parents; bothers: Julian Allee; Maple Allee, Claude Allee; Phelan Allee; and sisters: Virgie Richardson; Johnnie Taylor Erin loved God and she loved life. She was a member of 249 Church of Christ for 60 plus years. She devoted her time to caring for all her children and grandchildren and to teaching God’s love and kindness to everyone she met. Flower gardening was probably her favorite pastime. She spent summer days planting and tending her yard which was always full of blooms! Her hands were never idle. Many quilts, pillows, blankets etc. were made and distributed by Erin. She was also a collector, a painter and a great shopper. Erin loved to travel with family and friends. Her kindness, love, laughter and smile will forever be missed. Woodlawn Funeral Home
