April 18, 1999 Josephine Egr DAVID CITY — Josephine D. Egr, 74, of David City died Friday, April 16, 1999, at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in David City with Msgr. Adrian Herbek officiating. Burial is in the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Plasi. Visitation is 1-5:30 p.m. today at Roberts Funeral Home in David City. A 7:30 p.m. wake and PCCW rosary will follow at the church. Mrs. Egr was born July 27, 1924, near Touhy to Jacob and Mary (Havlovic) Bouc. She graduated from Wahoo High School in 1942. She married Victor Egr Oct. 19, 1946, in Wahoo. The couple farmed in the Plasi area in Saunders County before moving to David City 17 years ago. She was a housewife and hairdresser. She was a member of the church, PCCW, St. Mary’s Guild, American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic Workmen. Survivors include her husband; one son, James (Bernadette) of David City; one sister, Martha (Venn) Kralik of Wahoo; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death one son, Douglas E.; her parents; two brothers, Ernest and Fred Bouc; and two sisters, Mary Janecek and Lucille Riha. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
