Obituary of Brett Birdwell Brett Birdwell, age 45, was born to Norman and Joan Birdwell in Alexandria, La. on February 11, 1964. He entered into rest in Longview, Texas, September 30, 2009. Brett served several years in the U.S. Air Force. After returning home, he went to work as an Air Conditioning Technician. He is survived by his mother, Joan Birdwell of San Augustine, Texas; daughters, Megan Birdwell and Amber Birdwell, both of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Diane Birdwell of Dallas,Texas and Linda Thomson of San Augustine, Texas; brothers, Bruce Birdwell of Houston, Texas and Barry Birdwell of San Antonio, Texas. He was precedeed in death dy his father, Norman Birdwell. Services will be Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, with Dr. Sam Wayman officiating. Burial will follow in Chinquapin Cemetery. Visition will be Friday, October 2, 2009 at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
