She is the daughter of John Brown Denham and Rosa Lee Poynor. He married Joseph Edward Campsey. They have four known children: Linda (1927-2006), James (1931-1996), Howard (1933-1975) and Larry (1944-2014). Grace Campsey, 92, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, in Quanah. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Goodlett Cemetery at Goodlett. Officiants are her great-grandson, Randy Robertson, and the Rev. Don Wirsdorfer, minister of First Christian Church. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Campsey was born in Montague County. She lived in Quanah until moving to Childress in 1963. She was a private duty nurse for Hardeman County Memorial Hospital and Childress Regional Hospital. She was a member of the Goodlett Church of Christ. She married Joseph Edward Campsey in 1925 at Hardeman County. He died in 1963. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Howard Campsey in 1975 and Harold Campsey in 1996. Survivors include a son, Larry Campsey of Quanah; a daughter, Louise Havins of Childress; eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Amarillo Daily News, Feb. 12, 2000
