HAMMONS, MARGIE LEE 88, of Pasadena, TX, and formerly of Otisco, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at her home. She was born on October 18, 1918 in Pittsburgh, TX and was a member of the North Charlestown Church Of God. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Hammons and Orville Mayfield; a son, Bobby Hammons; parents, William Terrell and Annie Kate LeGrand, two grandsons, Travis Hammons and Bryan Waters, three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include her children, Thelma Reece of Otisco, Fran Lawrence of Ft. Myers, FL, Robert Hammons of Brandon, FL Randall Hammons of Louisville, KY and Steve Hammons of Pasadena, TX; a brother, Bates LeGrand of Richardson, TX; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Published in The Courier-Journal on 1/14/2007.
