Bio

Former Clark County resident Betty Ruth Fields, 68, died Sunday, May 16, 1999, in Tonasket, Wash. of kidney failure. She was living with her daughter. Mrs. Fields was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Ogallala, Neb. She graduated from Ridgefield High School and lived most of her life in Ridgefield. Survivors include her mother, Grace V. Rice of Ridgefield; two daughters, Catherine Weeks of Tonasket and Beverly Seifert of Vancouver, two sons, Ronald of Ridgefield and Russell of Hawaii; her sister, Alena McCuistion of Ridgefield; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and a son, Larry. A graveside service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Christian Center.
