Lawrence Julius Orsak, 83, of Mathis, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016. Mr. Orsak was born on April 12, 1933, in Seymour to Julius and Lillian (Mocek) Orsak. He married Mildred Havrda on Oct. 26, 1957, in San Antonio. He was the retired owner of Larry's Grocery Store in Mathis and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Edward Orsak. Survivors include his wife, Mildred H. Orsak of Mathis; two daughters, Debie (Juan) Jimenez of Beeville and Terrye Orsak of Mathis; three sons, Lawrence "Buddy" (Carolyn) Orsak of Three Rivers, Tim (Kristen) Orsak of Leander and Sean Orsak of Mathis; a brother, Jerry (Dorothy) Orsak of San Antonio; nine grandchildren, Amanda Orsak, Whitney Means, Caleb Orsak, Darcy Marsh, Meagan Orsak, Michael Padilla, Lauren Orsak, Levi Orsak and Laney Orsak; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Whitney Means, Amanda Orsak, Meagan Orsak, Lauren Orsak, Laney Orsak, Levi Orsak, Jared Silva, Ayden Silva, Michael Padilla, Sean Orsak, Buddy Orsak, Tim Orsak, Juan Jimenez, Caleb Orsak and Darcy Marsh.
