JoLene M. Siebels ,69 years, of Cedar Bluffs, NE passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. She was born January 23, 1947 in Fremont, NE to Edward and Esther (Lemke) Stejskal. JoLene grew up in Cedar Bluffs and graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School in 1965. She attended beauty school in Lincoln, NE. JoLene was a beautician at the former Miller and Paine Department Store in Lincoln, NE, Still Country Beauty Shop in Cedar Bluffs and then worked on her own for several years. JoLene married Thomas Siebels on April 21, 1968 in Lincoln NE. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church at Cedar Bluffs, the LWML and St. Matthew Quilt group, also the Material Girl's Quilt group at North Bend, several ladies luncheon groups and a Bunco Club at North Bend. JoLene was a member and vice president of American Legion Post #158 Auxiliary at Cedar Bluffs. She is survived by her husband, Tom; sons Darren ( Mindy) Siebels of Cedar Bluffs, Doug Siebels & special friend, Angelita Mendez of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Darcy (Mark) Cleveringa of Cedar Bluffs and 3 grandchildren , Courtney Marie, Jacob Thomas and Josie Paige Cleveringa. Jolene was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ann Fulton; and brother-in-law, Bruce Fulton. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, December 12, 2016 at St Matthew Lutheran Church in Cedar Bluffs. The Rev. Mark Weber will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, December 11th, 2 to 6 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Cedar Bluffs and also 1 hour prior to the funeral Monday at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or the donors choice.
