Bio

Esther Lemke was born in rural Saunders County near Cedar Bluffs. She graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School. She married Edward Stejskal on October 24, 1942 in El Paso, Texas. They farmed near Cedar Bluffs until moving into town in 1960. There they owned and operated the Double E Bar & Steakhouse for 10 years.
