Dorothy Marburger, 81, of San Angelo died Friday, May 11, 2001, at her residence. Service May 14 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with arrangements by Johnson's Funeral Home. Mrs. Marburger was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Elgin, Texas. She married Leonard Marburger on Jan. 14, 1940, in Elgin in a double ring ceremony with her sister. Mrs. Marburger was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and retired from Ethicon. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Survivors included her husband, Leonard Marburger of San Angelo; three sons, 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one brother, Virgil Klaus of Austin, three sisters, Estelle Schiller of San Angelo, Adelle Schiller of Austin and Tonie Wiesner of San Antonio; and several nieces and nephews. from obituary in San Angelo Standard-Times
