Bio

Tommy Earl Roberts passed away from this life on the same date he entered this world 67 years ago on November 2, 2016. He was born to Earl and Dorothy Mosley Roberts on November 2, 1949. Tommy was a life-long resident of Waxahachie and a lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church in Waxahachie, now know as the House of Hope. He worked at Hickerson's Food Store, the family grocery store owned by his father from 1960 to 1993. He also worked in the banking profession for many years and worked in security for several years until his retirement in 2012. Tommy is survived by his loving wife Shelia Roberts of 37 years, son Matthew Roberts and wife Stacey, daughter Meredith Roberts, brothers Kenneth Roberts and wife Rhonda, Keith Roberts and wife Ruth, sisters Janice Webb and husband George, Sherry Gage and husband Scott, grandchildren Sophia Fedoroff, and Makinleigh Roberts. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and gentle spirit. Visitation will be Saturday at 10 am, November 5, 2016 at House of Hope, formerly known as First Assembly of God, Waxahachie, TX. Funeral service will follow at 11 am with interment at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home. Obit: Waxahachie Funeral Home
