Emilie Mary Harrison, 91, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Monday, November 21, 2016. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary with Rosary at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016, in the St. Joseph Mausoleum. Emilie was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Rudolf and Rosie (Vrana) Juricek. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1943. On November 5, 1950, she married F.L. "Dick" Harrison and they made their home in Ennis. Emilie worked for over 33 years for Safeway as a meat wrapper. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis, KJZT, SPJST and the Ennis Sewing Circle. Emilie loved cooking, reading, horse races, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Harrison; and a sister, Georgie Colquit. Survivors include her son, Charles Harrison and wife, Deb; grandchildren: Elizabeth Miller and husband, Andy, Audrie Gondesen and husband, Scott, Stacy Guthrie and husband, Robert, Amber Adamcik and husband, Chris, and Beau Williams and wife, Brandi; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley Juricek and wife, Norma; sisters: Rosie Ferguson, Helen Autry, Angeline Juricek, Geraldine Autry, and Lucy Honza and husband, Adolph; special niece, Debbie Campbell along with other nieces and nephews.
