Frank P. Douglas, Jr. November 13, 1931 - November 11, 2016 Frank Ples Douglas Jr., 84, of Tyler, TX passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. He was born November 13, 1931 in Princeton, Texas to Frank Ples and Minnie Lee (Moore) Douglas. He was married to Nancy Christine Geore on November 17, 1956 in Decatur, TX and she passed away on April 25, 2014. He was a salesman, a member of the Methodist Church and served in the U. S. Air Force. He received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Texas. Mr. Douglas is survived by two daughters, Laura Douglas of Tyler, Sarah Douglas of Nacogdoches, and son Frank P. Douglas III Of Rockwall, two sisters Juanita Penland, and Helen Johnson both of McKinney, and four grandchildren . He was preceded in death by daughter George Anne Douglas on September 23, 1979. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
