Norfolk Daily News - Nov 7, 2016 BATTLE CREEK — Services for James L. Frauendorfer, 81, of Humphrey will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek. The Rev. Mike Malloy will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery in Battle Creek. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. rosary at the church. Visitation will continue at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of the arrangements. ——— James passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, surrounded by his family at Countryside Home in Madison. James was born on a farm near Humphrey on June 5, 1935, to Anthony and Anna (Vavra) Frauendorfer. He was raised on the family farm. He attended school in Cornlea. He married Kathaleen M. Frisch from Madison on April 12, 1955, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek. James was a devoted and loving spouse, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He farmed and raised livestock west of Madison all his life. He was a very hard working man and took pride in his farming and all he did. He loved his John Deere equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his family. James is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 61 years, Kathaleen; 10 children: son Paul (Jane) of Madison, daughter Deb Preister of Humphrey, son James Jr. of Columbus, daughter Linda (Kerry) Korth of Humphrey, daughter Sandy (Reggie) De Vore of Eagle Point, Ore., daughter Wanda (Jason) Milosich of Columbus, daughter Lisa (Clete) Borchers of Columbus, son Ryan of Madison, son Roger of Humphrey, daughter Rachelle (Justin) Bleich of Battle Creek; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Duane of Lindsay, Ronald, Gerald (Virginia), Harold (Connie); and sister JoAnn (Lauren) Veik, all of Humphrey; brother and sisters-in-law Marcella Reinhart of Madison, Monica Frisch of Lindsay and Gene and Rose Ann Frisch of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna; infant sister Wilma Jean; sisters-in-law Mary Ellen and Donna Frauendorfer; his father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Anna Frisch; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Agnes Geilenkirchen, Tom and Viola Finkral, Joe and Delores Frisch, Ambrose Reinhart and George Frisch.
