Bio

Marilyn Ann Terwilliger, age 87, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Born in David City, Nebraska, on March 29, 1924 to John and Cecelia (Brochtrup) Behrns. Marilyn graduated from David City High School. She would ride the train from David City during her early working years at the University of Nebraska Extension Division. Later she was employed at Miller & Paine Department Store. She retired from Bryan East Hospital after a 24 year career, but was credited for 25 years of service because of her work ethic. Marilyn loved to read, crossword puzzles, romance novels, gardening, sewing, canning, attending UNL football games, but most of all loved her family. Survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Lynne Ann and Larry Rhodes; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cynthia Terwilliger; granddaughter, Kelly Lynne Rhodes; grandson and spouse, Mark and Tracy Rhodes; great granddaughter, Katelyn, Rhodes. Preceded in death by: parents; grandson, Scott Rhodes; three brothers, Doug, Bill, and Bob; nephew, Danny Behrns. Obituary information from the Lincoln Journal Star.
