Rock Springs Daily Rocket-Miner, Jun 17, 1967 MARY O. WEST Mrs. Rufus (Mary O. "Jackie") I. West, 49, 721 Rugby Ave., died Saturday, June 10 at 7:40 a.m. at the Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. West had lived in Rock Springs since 1962. In ill health 4 ½ years, she had been a patient at the hospital since March 12. She was born Dec. 17, 1917, at Freestone County, Tex. Mrs. West is survived by her husband, Rufus West, Rock Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Osenbaugh, Craig, Colo.; one son, Maj. Donald R. West, U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, N.C.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin H. Baldree, Teague, Tex.; one brother, Jack Baldree, Teague, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Sims, Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Faye West, Mexia, Tex.; four grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Vase Funeral Home with Brother Leroy Hines of the Casper Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services and burial were held at the Pinedale Cemetery Tuesday at 1 p.m. Pallbearers were John Irvin, John Dufour, Ren Nelson, Fred Moore, Merico Bassani and Royce Goldman.
