ROZELMA (JEANNIE) MATTICE Visitation Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home Service Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home Biography Rozelma (Jeannie) Mattice, 85, passed away October 15, 2016 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Jeannie was born October 3, 1931 in Moberly to Earl Bert Carver and Rose Ellen Howard Carver. She was married to Harold Johnson who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Mattice who also preceded her in death. Jeannie was a homemaker and devoted to her family. She loved to cook and pies were her specialty. She gave her grandchildren homemade bread every year for Christmas; something they looked forward to with great anticipation. She also loved traveling with the family and fishing. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church where she was active in church prayer groups. In addition to her parents and husbands, Jeannie was preceded in death by a son, John Wesley Johnson, two grandsons, two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her children, Sherry Chase (Paul) of Huntsville, Judy Chase (Donald) of Huntsville, Sheila Rowe (Stephen) of Madison and David Mattice of Columbia; her brother, Benny Cupp (Debbie) of Moberly; twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and fifteen great great-grandchildren. Services for Jeannie will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
