Frank Gus Henicke, 86, of Spring, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 1, 1930 in Victoria, Texas to Benard and Minnie Kleiber Henicke. Frank was a co-founder of New Field Exploration where he worked for many years in various capacities and was a superintendent until his retirement. Frank had many hobbies some of which included deer hunting and vegetable gardening. He was a character most of the time who loved his wife and family unconditionally. Frank and Rosemary were married for 63 years and they still acted like newlyweds. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Frank proudly honored his country by serving in the United States Army, was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Anahuac and a member of the Masonic Order. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his son Darryl Henicke; one sister; and his four brothers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Rosemary Haynes Henicke; his sons Aaron Henicke and wife Janelle of Lubbock, Texas and Michael Henicke and wife Judy of Baytown, Texas; his ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; several siblings; and a host of other extended family and friends. Honoring the family and serving as pallbearers will be Frank’s grandsons Jason Henicke, Cullen Henicke, Adam Henicke, Cory Henicke, Sam Henicke and Jeremy Henicke.
