Son of Clarence Edward and Anna (Birdsell) Coons. His parents wed 20 August 1892 in Vandalia, Audrain county, Missouri. [Missouri Marriage Records 1805 - 2002.] The WW I draft card for this individual, written 12 September 1918, states the following: Jesse Edward Coons was born 18 January 1900. He was a white male. He worked for Ed Coons, as a miner. His closest relative was Anna Coons, of Randolph Missouri. Jesse was 5'8" tall, medium build, with brown eyes and dark hair.
