Dayton Review Thursday, April 18, 1901 Miss Myrtle Richardson, daughter of A.J. Richardson northeast of town, who has been very sick the past six weeks with typhoid fever, still continues quite low. She is a patient sufferer, and we trust she ma soon get well again. Dayton Review Thursday, August 29, 1901 OBITUARY Last Friday the soul of Myrtle Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Richardson, answered its final summons, and passed over the river of death. It was a sad ending to her young life. For seven months she had fought with disease, and had at one time conquered its ravages, but a relapse took place, and the system was not yet strong enough to meet it. She was born in Boone County in 1883, where her early childhood days were spent, moving to this county with her parents in 1888. In 1899, she gave her heart to God in a United Brethren revival at the Bell school house, and her last moments were full of bright visions of her heavenly home. Her last words expressed her delight upon the opening of the celestial kingdom to his. She was a favorite among her young companions, a large number of whom followed her to her last resting place on Sunday afternoon. Her casket was borne by six of her girl companions. She was laid to rest in Dayton cemetery. We join a host of the friends of the family in extending them sincere sympathy in their hour of sorrow. Contributor: abbylynn (47205881)
