Dayton Review Friday, January 13, 1911 DEATH OF FERN RICHARDSON On Monday morning occurred the death of Fern Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Richardson a few miles east of town. For two weeks she had been sick with pneumonia, but was rapidly recovering and was up and around the house. On Saturday night she went to bed feeling pretty well. Some time in the night she was taken worse and called her parents. The parents saw when they reached her bedside that she could not last long. She lingered all day Sunday and Sunday night and died early Monday morning. This young girl, so suddenly called away, was about fourteen years old, and had given all evidences of faithful Christian character. The parents and others in the saddened home have the sympathies of the entire community. Funeral services occurred from the Grace M. E. church in Dayton, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. GRACE M. E. CHURCH NOTES The sad death of Fern Gladys Richardson, the youngest daughter of Andy Richardson and wife, occurred early Monday morning of the ninth. A brief illness and sudden death was a shock to all of the many friends of the family. The funeral occurred from Grace church Wednesday afternoon 2:00 o'clock. Contributor: abbylynn (47205881)
