Bio

Mae Hargrove Gallegos, 91, of Smithville, TX formerly from Bastrop, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Mae was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Bennie Arnold as well as her two brothers and her late husband, Harold Hargrove. She is survived by her husband, John F. Gallegos, Sr. and step-son, John F. Gallegos Jr. and wife Selma. Mae is also survived by one brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at the Towers Nursing Home and Resolutions Hospice. And a very special thank you to Lillie Gallegos for her kindness and support. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family at eleven o'clock with Rosary to begin at twelve o'clock, followed by a funeral services on Tuesday, the 13th of January 2015, in the Davis Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
