Transcribed from the Ozark Co. Times newspaper dated 1934-5-31: GOD SEEMS TO BE CALLING HIS CHILDREN HOME Mrs. Annie Wiggins Taber was born Feb. 11, 1893, in Taney County, Mo., and was married to Mr. A. D. Taber Feb. 17, 1918. To his union were born three children, one dying in infancy. She departed this life on April 30, 1934, her age being 41 years, 2 months and 19 day's. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, two children, James and Beulah, of the home address; her parents, six sisters and seven brothers, and a host of friends. She bore her sickness with much patience and always met her friends with a smile. She had been ill for several weeks. She was a christian mother and her last testimony was that she was ready to meet her Lord. Funeral services were conducted at the family home near Coweta, Okla. by Rev. C. Bryant. With Kenard Funeral Home in charge. Interment was made in Vernon Cemetery. Our dear mother has left us, she has gone to heaven above. But we expect some day to meet her in that land of perfect love She was loved by all who knew her, but she heard the Savior's call, And she heard death's footsteps falling, softley coming throught the hall, But it's lonesome, oh so lonesome since our mother dear is gone. Though we hope some day to meet her when our earthly work is done.
