+ Donald C. Cole PARMA - Donald C. Cole, 74, of Parma, died Friday, Aug. 3, 1990, at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the First Christian Church, 10th and Everett streets, Caldwell. Pastor Jim Hardenbrook of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Lower Boise Cemetery, east of Parma. Arrangements are under direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel. Caldwell. Mr. Cole was born June 18, 1916, at Metz, Mo., a son of Wilmer D. and Clara Cole. At an early age, he moved to Canyon County with his parents. He attended Maple Grove and Riverside schools. He married Alice L. Lant on March 13, 1941, at Meridian. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March of 1991. They lived and farmed in the Meridian-Eagle area. They moved to the Ten Davis area near Parma in 1944. Don was a longtime member of the First Christian Church, Caldwell, where he served as both deacon and elder. He was active in his community, serving as a trustee for the Ten Davis and Parma school districts for 19 years. He also served on the Lower Boise Cemetery District as secretary-treasurer and sexton. He was an active member of the Caldwell Ramblers Good Sams Club. Survivors include his wife. Alice L. Cole of Parma; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John Hoff of Nyssa, Ore.; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Carol Cole of Parma; three granddaughters, Nikki Jasper and Kimi Jasper of Nyssa, and Lisa Dawn Cole of Parma; a grandson, Craig Cole of Parma; a great-granddaughter, Courtney Jasper of Nyssa; a brother, Glenn S. Cole of Boise; and five sisters, Lela Mutch of Boise, Wilma Alsup of Weslaco, Texas, Mary Badley of New Plymouth, Lucille Cox of Wendell and Bonnie Taylor of Eagle.
