Bio

Ronald “Ronnie” Keith Riley, Lawton, was born August 24, 1943 in Lawton to Kenneth and Dorothy (Johnston) Riley. He passed away September 5, 2016 at the age of 73. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel. Interment will follow at Letitia Cemetery under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. Ronnie married to Sue Chambers on August 16, 1960 in Wichita Falls, TX. They recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. He worked for Humpty Dumpty, Herb’s Groceries, and Double Eagle body shop until his illness forced him into retirement. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising animals, being outdoors, and playing practical jokes on people, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Riley; his father, Kenneth Riley; daughter, Lorre Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Rachel Chambers; and father-in-law, Sam Chambers. Survivors include his wife, Sue Riley of the home; sister, Donna Kay Macias and husband Julio of Lawton; son, Cory Riley and wife Lori of Lawton; daughter, Angela Spencer and companion Sidney Nichols of Lawton; grandchildren: Misty Spencer and companion Brandon Cramer; Houston Gonzalez; Emilio Gonzalez and wife Ashley; Samantha Gonzalez and companion Jacob Taylor; Colten Young and companion Katrina Sterns; Kelsey Riley; Hilary Gonzalez; Ashley Gonzalez; Jarred Riley; and Justin Riley; great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Jenkins; Ashlyn Gonzalez; Serina Young; Lilly Gonzalez; Spencer Cramer; Jaiden Taylor; and Elly Taylor; sister-in-law, Janice Robison and husband Dave; brother-in-law, Steve Chambers; sons-in-law, Larry Gonzalez and Gene Oxley; and numerous nieces, nephews, large extended family and friends.
