Bio

Albiena Ann Copeland, 77, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Authon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard. Memorials: Permanent Authon Cemetery Fund, 1470 Veal Station Road, Weatherford, Texas, 76085. Ann was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Granite, Okla., to Frank and Millie Baca Dudek. She worked for General Dynamics for 15 years. Ann was the ultimate host for family, loved crocheting baby blankets for family and friends and an avid supporter of our local sports teams, Rangers, Cowboys, Mavs and, of course, Kangaroos! She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pauline Pierce. Survivors: Ann is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Tommy Copeland of Weatherford; daughter, Lori Copeland of Weatherford; son, Ron Copeland of Gatesville; siblings, Mildred Ritter of Carthage, Mo., Irene Graham of Cibolo, Frank "Sonny" Dudek of Sand Springs, Okla., and Billy Dudek and wife, Sue, of Willow, Okla.; brother-in-law, R.G. Copeland and wife, Shirley, of Slaton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Published in Star-Telegram on Sept. 6, 2016
