Mary M. Mattson, 95, funeral will be held Wednesday. She died July 3, 1993 at Pierce. She was born April 17, 1898 in rural Pierce county to Anton and Anna (Basta) Vyhlidal. She married Henning Mattson on March 16, 1922 at St. Joseph Church parsonage in Pierce. She was survived by 2 sons: Marvin and his wife Evelyn, Ervin of Pierce: 2 daughters and their husbands: Delores and Joe Matteo of Fremont, Lorraine and Harold Walton of Pierce; 1 daughter-in-law Mrs. Allen {Gwen} Mattson of Pierce; 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother Ervin of Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, 1 son-in-law, 3 sisters, 5 brothers.
