Fort Bend Herald, November 20, 2008: Funeral services for Theresa (Blinka) Williams Peikert, 59, of Richmond, will be held at 10:00 A. M., Saturday, November 22, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg with Reverend Charles Teykl officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., Friday, November 21, 2008 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Theresa was born May 31, 1949 in Sugar Land to Milton Blinka and Jeanette (Kocurek) Blinka. She was a member and elder of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. Theresa was an excellent cook being known for her gumbo. She enjoyed sewing, helping people, and caring for her dog, Sissy. She passed away November 18, 2008 in Houston. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Blinka and Jeanette Blinka Young. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Peikert; daughter, Julie Williams, of Philadelphia, PA; son, Jeffrey Williams, of Richmond; grandchildren, Tanner Williams, Sebastian Williams, Geoffrey Williams, Bryce Williams; siblings, Bea Kalkomey and husband, Charles, of Sealy, Penny Morrow and husband, Eric, of Rosenberg; half sister, Sandra Landers and husband, Lonnie, of Noble, OK; nephews, Charles Allen Kalkomey, Jr. and wife, Stephanie, and their daughter, Sloane, Craig Kalkomey and wife, Gwen, Gregory Morrow, Jeremy Morrow; along with other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will include Tanner Williams, Gregory Morrow, Jeremy Morrow, Charles Allen Kalkomey, Jr., Craig Kalkomey and Eric Morrow. For those wishing, donations may be made in memory of Theresa to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 389, Needville, Texas, 77461.
