YOAKUM - William 'Bill' Culak, 78, passed away August 19, 2016. He was born April 27, 1938 in Moulton to the late Joe and Agnes (Filipp) Culak. He retired from the City of Yoakum as the Electrical Supervisor. After retirement, he enjoyed his cattle business and his hobbies of hunting, fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and the San Antonio Spurs. He married Mertes Donnelly on April 26, 1958. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Culak. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Thiele Cooper Funeral Home, 361-293-5656. Published by the Victoria Advocate, August 21, 2016
