Adeline Lorine (Schramm) Pietsch, 92, of La Grange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Adeline was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 6, 1923, the daughter of Walter P. Schramm and Hedwig (Hobratschk) Schramm. She married Clarence Pietsch on November 19, 1944 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. She is survived by two sons: Clarence Pietsch, Jr. and wife, Nancy; Larry Pietsch and wife, Marsha, all of La Grange; two sisters: Ann Fick of Pinehurst; Mary Ann Pietsch and husband, Collin, of La Grange; brother, James Schramm and wife, Cedell, of La Grange; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; three brothers; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and one infant sister. Visitation will be held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family will receive friends. A prayer service will follow. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda with Pastor Dennis Tegtmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Ladies Aid, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 69, Warda, TX 78960; or a charity of one’s choice.
