Willie Mae Sykora Kofnovec, age 61, of Duncanville, passed away September 10, 1994. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. on September 13 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, with Father Tom Cloherty and Father Joe Lee as celebrants. Entombment was at Calvary Hill Mausoleum in Dallas. Mrs. Kofnovec was born October 3, 1932 in West. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chelsea Carter on January 2, 1992. She is survived by her husband, Anton (Joe) Kofnovec of Duncanville; her sons, Wayne Kofnovec of Whitney, Gary Kofnovec of Austin and Roy Kofnovec of Duncanville; daughters, Janice Carter and Jayne Abbott, both of Duncanville; five grandchildren, Darrell Ann Kofnovec, Stacy Bolton, Kristina Kofnovec, Cody Abbott and Chyanne Carter; two sisters, Helen Svacek and Dorothy Weibusch; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and J.D. White of Richardson. David Clayton and Sons Funeral Home in Duncanville was in charge of arrangements.
