Bio

Alvis M CARTER was the son of Thomas James CARTER and Brazilla KING. Alvis had two sisters, but his mother and his youngest sister died when he was two. Alvis' father remarried when Alvis was three. His new step-mother was Sarah Elizabeth BURCH. His father and step-mother had more children every couple of years. Alvis died in the fall of 1896 at the age of 10 years. His cause of death is unknown.
