Vlasta Otile Sramek, 96, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father Antonio Ormaza as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery of Ennis. Vlasta was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Joe M. and Mary J. (Vrla) Trojacek. She grew up in Telico and graduated from Telico Schools. On January 3, 1945, she married Joe Sramek and they made their home in Ennis, Texas. She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST #25 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sramek, on September 28, 2003; brothers: Emil, Joe H., and Arnold; and sisters, Lillie Forson and Alice Honza. Survivors include her son, Rick Sramek and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Joetta Sramek Oliver and Bobby Williams; grandchildren: Heath Oliver, Amanda and Logan Sramek; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
