William "Elvin" Healey 1926 - 2016 VETERAN Early Life: Elvin was born on September 7, 1926, in Alpine Utah, to James William and Minnie Whitby Healey. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea. Life's Work | Service | Interests: Elvin worked for Utah Power & Light for 32 years. He spent the last eight years of his career living in American Fork Canyon operating the hydroelectric plant. William Elvin Healey passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, at his home in Alpine, Utah. He was 89. Survived By: His loving wife, Joan; four sons and one daughter: LeRon (Connie), Alese Jolley, Todd, Korey (Jody), Ryan (Stefanie); nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded In Death By: His son, Kelly; his parents and two grandsons, Brandon Healey and Tyler Huff.
