Paul Smith, 86 Dies at Greeley Funeral services for Paul Smith will be held Saturday, December 26, in Ord. Mr. Smith died December 21, 1992 at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley, NE. He was 86. The Rev. Richard Brian will officiate at the 2 pm service at Ord Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Ord City Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born July 24, 1906 at North Branch, KS to Arthur and Elizabeth (Earner) Smith. He was raised in Webster county near Red Cloud. He moved to Greeley county in 1925. He farmed at Chadron and north of Horace in Greeley county before moving to Oregon where he owned a self service laundry for a number of years. He then moved to Vail, OR until moving to the Greeley Care Home in October of 1991. Survivors include one brother, Louis Smith of Tooele, UT; two sisters, Eveline Cannon of Anchorage, AK and Barbara Moore of Long Pine.
