Bio

Junior W. Putt, 73, died at 10:45, in Kniman. He spent his life in the South Bend area, where he was a crane operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150. He married Mary E. Newgent Seward in Plymouth on April 7, 1973. Mr. Putt was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and American Legion Post 189 of Walkerton. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Brenda Cochran of Bloomington; a son, Harold W. Putt of Monticello; and three sisters, Helen Menk and Ruth Hanna, both of Monticello, and Elenore Wascher of Belvidere, Ill. A brother, Harold Putt preceded in death.
