Bio

George Ann Wright Sherry is a bit of a mystery. She was born in Kentucky and had at least two children by an unknown man. She and her son John moved to Ohio where she married a couple times. Eventually they moved to southern California. In those days it was not acceptable to be an un-wed mother so she called her son John her nephew. I am not sure why her headstone says she died in 1937 as her death certificate states she died in 1939.
