Bio

Silvira Huntsman Lafon Bandy was born Feb. 19, 1834 in Hunt County Tennessee to John and Nancy Frost Huntsman, and died Dec. 19, 1911 in Allen County, Kentucky. John was brother to Peter Huntsman (Martha Huntsman Bandy's father) First cousin to Martha Huntsman Bandy. (Silvira also had a sister named Martha Caroline who married a Dalton in Allen County) She married Jonathan Lafon about 1853 in Weakley County, Tennessee. They had 4 children together. (he had two from a previous marriage) Jonathan died in 1863. Her cousin Martha (wife of Barney A Bandy) died in 1879.
