Bio

Nancy Caroline LaFon married James Tillman Mitchell (1857-1943, son of William B. Mitchell and Mazie Douglas), about 1882. Nancy was the daughter of Jonathan LaFon (1831-1863) and Silvira Huntsman (1834-1919). Caroline and Tillman were the parents of eleven children: Nola Mitchell (Mattingly) John Milam Mitchell, Sr Lockie Prudilla Mitchell (Harp) Fred Stephen Mitchell Toney Raymon Mitchell Mattie Carter Mitchell (Harrison) Rubin Bascom Mitchell Allie B.
