Johnson, George M.Johnson, Lemuel Johnson, Mary F.Johnson, Rachel Johnson The Des Moines Tribune. 4 Sep. 1917, Tue. Mrs.Mary F. Johnson, pioneer Des Moines resident, died at the Methodist hospital last night, 71 years old. She was born in Des Moines Oct. 2, 1846, and lived here all her life. Mrs. Johnson was the widow of Lemuel C. Johnson. She was born on what was then a farm home at Twentieth and Hickman streets. She was the daughter of W.R. Close, who died five years ago. Three daughters and three grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held at the Dunn's funeral home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Shullenberger of the Central Christian church will officiate. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
