Mr. Kenneth Nance, age 67 of San Augustine, passed from this life on Monday evening, June 27, 2016, at his residence in San Augustine. He was born to Winnie (Ponder) Nance and James Alfred Nance on September 28, 1948, in San Augustine County, Texas. He served in Vietnam in the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, and was a member of the Black-horse Society. He was employed as a Brick Mason working in Construction. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by daughter, Kelley Downey; Sons, Jody Nance and Casey Nance and his wife, Kelly; Brothers, Frank Nance and his wife, Joann; Johnny Nance and his wife, Phyllis; Sister, Wendy Looney; His grandchildren, Kendra Downey; Madeline Jolene Nance; Casey Nance, Jr., and Brittan Nance. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Winnie Nance; Brother, Barry Charles Nance and nephew, Scotty Nance. Funeral Services will be held in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment following in the Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine County.
