Mae Kelley Blanchard 1919 - 2005 Mae Kelley Blanchard, 85, of Pensacola, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2005. Mrs. Blanchard was a native of Highland Home, Alabama and had resided in Pensacola for the past 67 years. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Blanchard retired from Sam's Style Shop in 1981 and previously was an agent for the Curtis Publishing Company as well as a ward clerk at Sacred Heart Hospital. For many years, she was a precinct worker for Escambia County Elections Office. Mrs. Blanchard was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Blanchard; her parents, James A. and Pearl Kelley; her sisters, Odessa Pouncey and Myra Floyd; and her brother, Glen Kelley. Mrs. Blanchard is survived by her daughters, Patricia Anderson, Faye Alford and her husband, Lamar; five grandchildren, Ed, Lesley, Jason Parker and his wife, Kerry, Dr. Kelley Alford Renton and her husband, Ian, and Catherine Alford; three great-grandchildren, Eddie Parker, III, Kaylee Parker, and Ryan Bennettson; two sisters, Lucille Warhol and Jimmie Owens; three nieces, Ruby Strom, Shirley Bennett, and Charlotte Tatum; and two nephews, John Warhol and Don Owens. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Reverends Brian Nott and Jerry Chumley will officiate. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Alex Jenkins, Ralph Bradley, Lester Hobbs, Don Richard, Jimmy Mashburn and John Kelchner. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Frank Abbott, Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg and staff, Dr. Amos Prevatt and staff, and Covenant Hospice. Harper-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heights Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society or Covenant Hospice.
