Robert Ross Stephens, age 77, passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday June 25, 2016 at his Keith Springs Mountain home while surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Steele Stephens; father, Earl Stephens, Sr.; brother, Earl Stephens, Jr.; sister, Sadie Brewer; great-grandson, Levi Howard. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years and 11 and a half months, Mary Stephens; daughter, Marlene (Tony) Howard of Belvidere; son, Robert “Bobby” (Kim) Stephens of Belvidere; grandchildren, Joseph (Mandy) Howard of Belvidere, Daniel (Andrea) Howard of Belvidere, Rebecca (Dalton) Mahaffey of Belvidere, Brook Stephens of Belvidere, Nicholas Stephens of Belvidere, Curtis (Tammy) Howard of Decherd and Scottie (Nicole) Howard of Tullahoma; 14 great-grandchildren, who he bragged about to everyone he spoke to. He truly loved his family and they truly loved him. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of “Watson-North Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Tuesday June 28, 2016 with the Rev. Howard Riddle and Johnny Cash officiating. Interment will follow at Keith Springs Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday June 27, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. Information provided by Watson-North Funeral Home
