BRISTOW - James S. Freerks, 50, of Bristow, died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996 in Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes. He was retired from Koehring Equipment Co. in Waverly. Survivors are his wife, Nola; sons James of Laurel and Jeff of Bristow; daughter, Pam Krukow of Newton; six grandchildren; six sisters: Donna Voss of Cedar Falls, Sandra Edler and Jeanie Wienert of Bradgate; Pauline D'amore of Kenosha, Wis. and Sharon Manifold and Karen Counts of Marshalltown. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tena Freerks; stepfather; sister Cinda; and infant grandson. Service at 1:30 Thursday at Church of Christ in Bristow; burial in Oak Hill Cem. near Bristow.
