Bio

Emily (once called Emma) was born to Edward M. and Mary Movavec in Nebraska. The 1910 US Census lists her and her family living in Omaha, Nebraska. Her father worked as a laborer and a packer for Pittsburgh Plate & Glass Company at 14th and Jones, Omaha. That year Emily was three years old. Her mother died in 1913, and Emily continued to live with her widowed father and little sister, Helen. In 1940, Emily and Helen were living with Edward on South 10th in Omaha. They had lived there since at least 1935.
